A journey of faith, knowledge and community service in the heart of Scotland.
Darul Falaah Scotland is an Islamic institute committed to nurturing faith, knowledge, and character. From children taking their first steps in Qur'anic learning to adult students pursuing advanced scholarship, our doors are open to every seeker of beneficial knowledge.
Children from the age of 4 and above are given the opportunity to delve deep into the teachings of Islam through structured, traditional programmes.
Established in 2017 and expanded in Govanhill, Glasgow, Masjid Abubakr (Al-Falaah Musallah) serves over 300 worshippers from diverse communities.
We collaborate with other mosques and Islamic institutions across Scotland to serve and unite the diverse Muslim community.
Darul Falaah began with a simple vision: to create a space in Glasgow where authentic Islamic learning is accessible to every individual, regardless of age or background. Over the years, that vision has grown into a thriving centre of education, worship and community life.
Today, through our onsite madrassah, evening programmes, Darul Uloom Scotland, Takhassus ul Ifta, and online platform, we continue the centuries-old tradition of transmitting Islamic knowledge from teacher to student with care and rigour.
Our teaching is rooted in the classical scholarly tradition of Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah.
We teach with care, meeting students where they are and walking alongside them.
From curriculum design to delivery, we aim to serve the knowledge of Islam with the highest standard.
Our programmes run both onsite in Glasgow and online so that knowledge reaches every home.
Whether you're a parent looking for a madrassah for your child, or an adult beginning your own journey of Islamic learning, we'd love to welcome you.
