The aim of Darul Uloom Scotland is to nurture young Muslims with a strong Islamic identity while ensuring they receive a balanced and comprehensive education that prepares them for both religious and worldly responsibilities.

Academic Excellence

Secondary School Education

Alongside their Islamic studies, students will also undertake secondary school education from S1 to S6 through Darul Uloom Scotland. This ensures that students continue to progress through the Scottish national curriculum while benefiting from a structured and nurturing Islamic environment.

All academic subjects are delivered by qualified and experienced teachers, ensuring that students receive high-quality instruction in line with the standards set by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).

Students will study key core subjects:

Mathematics English Science History Religious Education Computer Science Physical Education
Islamic Books Library

As they advance through the senior phase, students will be prepared for National Qualifications and other SQA examinations, enabling them to achieve widely recognised academic credentials across Scotland and the wider United Kingdom.

Darul Uloom Scotland ensures that students are equipped with both strong religious foundations and essential academic qualifications, enabling them to succeed in this life and the hereafter without compromising either their Deen or their Dunya.

Also, through collaboration with Markfield Institute of Higher Education, students who complete their Alimiyah programme will have the opportunity to progress and enrol into postgraduate (master's level) Islamic Studies programmes, allowing them to continue their academic journey at an advanced level.
