Darul Falaah implements the Iqra Read series to teach Qaida’h studies. It is an easily comprehensible book divided into two parts enabling children to learn the Arabic alphabet and tajweed (Quranic recitation rules) within
a year. Subsequently, in the second year, they will commence reciting the Quran. Alongside the Qaida’h studies, students will undertake the Safar Academy Islamic Studies series in English. This will help them comprehend the basics of Islam and establish confidence in their religion. The children will have a comprehensive understanding of Islam by the end of their studies.
Darul Uloom Scotland
Darul Falaah has launched a 5-year Ê¿Ä€limiyyah programme with full high-school education for boys aged 13+ in Glasgow, complete with boarding facilities for students across the UK. This initiative fills a long-standing need for a safe, structured Islamic environment that combines strong religious education with national-standard academics.
Our Masjid
Masjid Abubakr, also called the Al-Falaah Musallah, was established in the year 2017 as a Musallah and started offering five daily prayers in a room situated inside a building. Later, the mosque was expanded and a dedicated space was built in Govanhill, Glasgow, which can accommodate over 300 worshippers. The mosque works in collaboration with other mosques throughout the city to represent and support Muslims from diverse backgrounds.
